AmiBase is also positioned to be a platform for microbial data network in ASEAN. A registered user can promptly send data to AmiBase via the data sharing interface built into iCollect®. Currently 23 culture collections from 7 ASEAN countries have joined the program and submitted microbial data records to AmiBase.

Moreover, in collaboration with ACB, AmiBase has developed a web service API which provides a checklist of ASEAN microbial species. This API is available to any registered users (free of charge).
