By integrating microbiome data, AmiBase can extract microbe-microbe or microbe-habitat relationships. On AmiBase website internet users can interactively view a series of graphic representations of diversity and habitat/host relationship any modern web browsers.

In regard to the geospatial aspect of ASEAN microbiome studies, AmiBase offers a map display for marine microbiomes ranging from the year 2008 to 2019. The geographical locations of marine microbiome samples are shown along with significant volcanic eruptions and tsunami sources which occurred within the selected year range.

AmiBase also provides an analytic tool which can compare microbial species and microbiome structures against the references in the database.

AmiBase provides the online tool for analysing and viewing the profile of bacterial communities in the microbiome samples. This analysis tool calculates the functional and taxonomic profiles of bacteriome in the sample pool and displays them in interactive charts.
