Equip phylogenetic analysis tools in your research arsenal with BIOTEC phylogenetic seminar

news

Nowaday it is undeniable that phylogenetic tree analysis is an important tool in molecular evolution research. So with a purpose to introduce the powerful tools in phylogenetic analysis to biologists and how to wield them properly in research, National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), with the support of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, will host the online seminar about “Evolutionary phylogenetic analysis”.

The trainer of the seminar, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pravech Ajawatanawong, is an expert in genomics analysis and bioinformatics from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. In the arena of molecular research, he is a veteran with more-than-ten-year worth of experience.

This seminar is part of the 7th annual conference of ASEAN Network on Microbial Utilization (AnMicro). ASEAN molecular biologists, microbiologists, and anyone who are interested can choose to participate either via online conference program or, if convenient to you, joining on-site in the venue at Conference Room CC306, Convention Center, Thailand Science Park, Phahonyothin Road, Khlong Nueng, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani, Thailand. The 3-hour-long seminar is scheduled to start at 9.00 to 12.00 AM on September 25th, 2020
